Here is
number 6 of the series, a concert that happened in late June 88, the line-up
consisted of Ron Wood on guitar and vocals, Bo Diddley on guitar, vocals and drums,
Jim Satten on guitar, Debbie Hastings
on
bass and backing vocals, Mike Fink on drums, Hal Goldstein on keyboards, backing
vocals and harmonica. This show has a different setlist than the usual
Wood-Diddley shows with many songs that are not usually played in their
concerts.
For this show there were 2 versions to choose from, the version that combined
both June shows of Ron Wood with Bo Diddley was in better sound quality than
the other one, whose right channel was very shaky, but on the other hand the
songs were not separated and came in 30 minutes-segments.
So it was used this version from which the songs were separated and some flaws
eliminated. Big noises have been removed without audible consequences! Some
defaults remained in the introduction and between some songs though, but they
are not too annoying: it would have been difficult to delete them without
truncating the recording.
